Just to whack the nerdiness up another notch :D

This will rapidly degenerate into a ‘who can quote Red Dwarf the most?’ contest, but there’s nothing wrong ith that.

‘Smeeeeeeeg Heeeeeeeeead!’

well you got there first, i assumed the same thing. the whole “i can quote more lines than you” type stuff. anyway, erm, to start on a reasonably useful note, favourite series? favourite episode? favourite character / baddie of the week? classic line?

Favourite series… Hmm, probably five.

Favourite episode would have to be Quarantine.

Favourite character has to be Kryten, favourite one-off character would be Legion.

Classic line? Christ, too many, but my favourite would have to be ‘Kryten, step up to red alert!’ ‘Are you absolutely sure, sir? It does mean changing the bulb.’

favourite episode would probably be demons and angels or (quite rightly) quarantine.

kryten, yes of course. it has to be. other character would be queeg.

classic line (referring to holly’s IQ) “it has a six in it, but it’s not six thousand”

Ah yes, Queeg… what I consider to be the first ‘classic’ episode. Don’t get me wrong, I like the first two series, but I think that, by comparison to what came later, they’re just not as good.

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but we’re now arguing about which is better - Red Dwarf or Doctor Who. Perhaps we should go and get a life, and maybe do something more productive…

Because we all know Red Dwarf is so much better.

good music taste and good sci-fi taste aren’t really that related as far as i can tell. aye, i know we had a whole thread to ourselves about MBA and (for anyone else who is interested MBA are great). just cos you’ve got nice hair and shiny white teeth. i’ll stop now. :)

i can’t work out how to quote things from different threads, but this one sticks out:

You are a paedophile. You are a nonce. You’re a perv. You’re a slot badger. You’re a two pinned-in plug. You’re a bush dodger. You’re a small bean regarder. You’re a unabummer. You’re a nut administrator. You’re a bent ref. You’re The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. You’re a fence vole. You’re a free willy. You’re a chimney bottler. You’re a bunty man. You’re a shrub rocketeer.
