New Kurt Cobain release?

#

Started by Superunknown

Sounds weird but a friend of mine told me that some underground band released an EP only a short while ago, which featured previously unreleased performances by Kurt Cobain on vocals. He said, much to his surprise the whole was completely ignored by the media. Can anybody confirm this and do you know the name of that band/the EP?

No wonder if that really exists, the media didn’t push it any as it is obviously success “fishing” if you get what I mean. Or then Ms. Love put lawyers on to it and they destroyed them all.

Nah that is much too sensible.

The most recent release that had anything to do with Kurt Cobain was the Nirvana boxset.I might be wrong but i think a couple of years ago a band called Earth released an ep and it had an old recording from the early 90’s and Kurt might have played on it.

He commented: “If people buy it ‘cause they’re some Kurt-worshipping type and it makes them happy to have one more track with him on it, that’s fine, but people who like Earth will buy it for Earth.”

I wonder what kind of ratio that would give? :D

:D

Let’s just try that idea with something else, like, say, porn involving a plumber coming to do the pipes:

He commented: “If people buy it ‘cause they’re some sex-loving type and it makes them happy to see naked flesh and hardcore fucking, that’s fine, but people who like plumbing will buy it for the plumbing.”

Just read a book on Cobain and there was actually no exit wound when he shot himself. He had to be identified by fingerprints as he had no mouth and teeth left though, nice.

Them record companies are a joke… re-releasing demos that were released a few months back on the nirvana box set with 3 extra tracks which apparently is a reason to pay another 15 quid.
And they wonder why people share files!!
:p
