My T? collection is slowy starting to expand and i have most of the singles/EP’s now.It would great if they released some EP’s or another mini album but at least we have the free downloads from the audio section.

I wonder why T? never included Opal Mantra on Toublegum or So Much For The Ten Year Plan?

Me too, as it has one of the best bass lines they’ve ever recorded.

There’s loads of stuff that should’ve been re-released, Opel Mantra and Totally Random Man being two of them.

Opal Mantra was a glaring omission from So Much For The Ten Year Plan, damn right!

If I remember right, OM came after the big hit with Shortsharpshock EP, and I can’t understand why this has become the ‘lost’ Therapy? single. Very Twilight Zone how it just disappeared from history like that…

If T? ever release a boxset they really need to include this song on it.

Hate to state the glaringly obvious but surely it’s because Opal Mantra is the only T? single never to make it onto an album?

I have a theory why Opal Matra isn’t on So Much… It is so simple “pop” song what kind of tunes Andy says he can write in minutes but he doesn’t want to because of “that”.
A little trivia for you all about that song; it is the ONLY T? tune that I can play on guitar! And I can’t play guitar at all… :p

If there will ever be a boxset, it would be nice if it had some really rare stuff… stuff that no-one has yet… like an unreleased demo or unreleased track… so the collectors will have something new as well

I suppose Opal Mantra is really that rare it’s on Born In A Crash and Hats Off To The Insane but i think a lot of newer T? fans probably aren’t aware of this song.

You have nothing to be jealous of soul doubt the promo is so badly scratched it doesn’t play right.I did consider sending it back and getting a refund but it was only £3.48 and i couldn’t bothered with the hassle.

:( That’s a pity indeed, but you’ve got that nice SG-cover, better with a scratched cd then none… But anyway, I hope you’ll find a very cheap one in good condition one day!
