What is the sabres of paradise CD like, I have the nowhere single with Pantopon Rose etc.
I was going to buy it on Ebay yesterday, went to buy it today and the sod has gone, my own fault. It comes up a lot so will get it, but just wanted to know what it was like.

Cheers
Karl

To be honest, I think those remixes are rubbish. Both sound the same as eachother and nothing like ‘Nowhere’.

But hey, get the cd anyway as part of your collection.

Thanks for all your inputs. Not sure what to do now, I should still buy it, I should have done yesterday it was at a bloody good price as well.
Is it industrial sounding, as I imagine it to be something like Die Krupps or something, or am I totally wide of the mark?

It’s more techno. Y’know… the crap kind.

The Teethgrinder & Trigger Inside remixes are definately worth getting as they are industrial sounding, and very good in my opinion.

I only just heard these remixes last week when i bought Nowhere CD 2 and i’ve got to agree with the other guys they’re indeed rubbish. If you see the remix CD cheap it’s worth getting it to complete your collection but i wouldn’t pay more that £3 or £4 for it.

I have listened the whole songs for a couple of times, first time when I recorded those vinyl versions to cd and once when I was drunk. It didn’t help but if I ‘d be smoking pot or doing drugs, then I would give them another change… :P

Trigger Inside and Teethgrinder remixes are listenable as they have vocals on them.

Yep completely crap. The messenger mix of church of noise is quite good though.

The Church Of Noise remix is alright but i would have prefered 60 Watt Bulb to have been on the Church Of Noise single instead of it.
I’ve not heard the Teethgrinder,Trigger Inside or Die Laughing remixes but i think there’s no way they could be as good as the Photek remix of Loose.

DIE LAUGHING remix is quite good if you like ambient music. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with original, except for the title.
