To just be enjoyed, is the way I see it. If you look at it in the big sceme of things most trivial things that happen to us are not worth getting upset or worrying over. This is an easy thing to say, and doing it is another issue.
Maybe there isn’t a meaning in it all there doesn’t have to be.

thats my way of thinking and I’m generally a happy person

To me personally, the meaning of my life is to try to be happy and not fuck over people… unless they deserve it of course.

I’ll go with Alan on this one. I wonder whether something bad has happened in Pip’s life recently(hopefully not), or that he has some other problem because people usually start asking themselves why they are around when they feel bad. If you feel bad, try to get your mind off it, try to focus on something positive.

don’t worry man
i had these thoughts more than once, but lately it seemed just like they dissappeard somehow… i just dont know
i am sure they’ll come round again, but now i just feel pretty good, although i am kinda fucked up because i cant do the things i prefer to do.. but those times will pass by too…
normally i guess it are those time where you just dont have any feeling… when you dont know where you am, why you got there, and worst of all you feel numb… just like you’re a ghost… in those times you probably get to ask yourself “the meaning of the mouse”, because we are as small as fuck, if you know how many people are out there

Pass on your genes. I don’t see any reason why there should be a meaning of life beyond that when the individuals that we are have evolved solely to be as efficient as possible at passing on our genes - anything that differs from this wouldn’t survive.

So there’s no cosmic destiny, sense of one-ness or greater truth. Which means make or find your own meaning.:) Then write a book about it, although not too comprehensive a one as you’ll have nothing to put in the sequel when it becomes a hit.

Listening to the Offspring is probably a good thing to do in the meantime. I think Dexter’s quite a good lyricist.

Spent an hour in a float tank this morning, very odd experience.

Smoking a cigarette?

:D

Yeah - I’m with most people here, life is not a dress rehersal, have a good time cause you can blink and miss it if you are not carefull.

Before you know it you will be old and stink of piss. See you down the bingo.

This isn’t helping is it?

It doesn’t matter what it is that makes you happy, or that makes you feel you have succeeded in life, because it’s such a personal feeling. Don’t let others tell you when you should feel happy or sad.

one trick that helps me get by, and divers said it already:
don’t get worked up over little details, try to see the positive side of it all.

a) Who cares?

b) Have a good time and try not to think about such things, humans are the only animals that think such thoughts.

c) We eat, sleep, shit and pro-create - everything else is none of our business.

d) As lemmy once said “have a good fucking time…for all we know thats what God put us here for!”

Sounds good to me. And be evil to people who do the same to you!

I’d do it again. V subtle experience, hard to explain, but I was so spaced when I came out of the place, that I nearly got run over. Now that’s relaxed.
