Yes but Troublegum had 3 guitar parts on every track.
To me it sounds like the black album thing
Rhythm left right and centre and then solos.
Plus the guitar has a chorus effect on it.
That why it sounds massive
Yes, I know! The point was - whats wrong with giving it a bit more beef this time round? That would be cool!

I think Linkin Park spend so much time on their albums cos they can… I’m sure loads of bands would love the budget to do that, even T? Tho i’m sure the T? album will still kick far more ass than the crappy Linkin Park one…!
Exsqueeze me? Does someone here LIKE Def Leppard?! Oh dear!
How old are you? I’m 30, so yes, Def Leppard kick ass! I was weened on 80’s rock, it’s in my blood. Pyromania was the first album I’d ever really heard, Hysteria was the first I ever owned. They were the first concert I’d ever seen, and so on. The rule, so mind your manners when discussing them! Hahaha.

I think the mistake you’re making is comparing the production to other Therapy? albums. Each album is so different, the production reflects the mood of the songs perfectly.
If I had to complain about any album it would be the Nurse and pre-Nurse stuff.

Hate to disagree, but i love the sound of Nurse! Can’t explain why but I do!
Do you have to be a certain age to like Def Leppard then?! Makes sense! ps, I’m only 2 years younger than you but even I know Def Leppard is scraping the barrel of quality rock! But don’t get het up - you’ll sound like one of those old guys who complain about “Back in my day…”!!!
Only jokin’

I just love the production of Babyteeth and Pleasure Death, no other production would make these songs so powerfull!

Totally! Nurse has a really unique sound. Its not your typical ‘rock’ production job. Sounds dubby to me which is ace. No-one has done it like that before or since though strangely…!

Oh absolutely, the sound of Nurse is amazing, there is no other album that sounds that way, by T? or anybody. I’d just got into Therapy? when that album came out and it knocked me off my feet. This is why i was disappointed with ensuing albums. Well, initially, i love them all now!! :)

X was a terrible album. They had outside songwriters write a few songs, fucking terrible! But truly, X is their only bad album.
As for Nurse and the pre-Nurse stuff, I don’t know, not a fan of that weak production. If they remastered them all that would help, but it would still sound weak to me.
