Snare heads

Hello everyone!

What do all the drummers out there use for Snare heads? I’ve heard that Evans heads are slightly darker sounding than Remo, and also that uncoated heads are brighter than coated ones.

What do you all think? I’m going for the Nurse-On-A-Budget sound!!

Evans twin ply coated… for me this works everytime, and for the Therapy? style tight snare motherfukers that we are, these are long lasting wen it comes to cranking it up to bullet proof standards.I have broke one of these during a show, but it was after a very long time of use, and it was still tight enough to use for the rest of the gig.
