Then I desperately hope your next self-help book is entitled
“Mothers-in-Law: How To Shut The Fuck Up When You Clearly Have No Idea What You’re Talking About, Which Is Most of The Time, Let’s Face It”
and if you could stick a chapter in about leaving the son-in-law alone and cutting down on the flirting cos you REALLY ain’t got a chance, love, that’d be superb.

I’m trying, but my mother-in-law is nagging at me, and I can’t concentrate. It’s particularly irritating and baffling in my case, since I’m not married, and am in fact single. :/

Too much time spent on your sellotape research to go out and get a woman, huh?
I can sympathise, my story is similar:
I was single for many years whilst I concentrated on being repulsive to the opposite sex :D

It’s not just research. It’s a calling!
I find I can compress the time I have to spend concentrating on being repulsive down into a very short period. Thus leaving me plenty of free time to weep and wail and gnash my teeth. And then, Sellotape Degunking in the early evenings.

I must admit, I heard the name before I heard the music and thought then that it didn’t bode well.
