Title: Indeed,

All the contestant pick a random box (out of 22 ) at the start of the game. Then 1 contestant gets picked to play the game.
They then keep the box they chose(however they don’t know how much money is in that box)

Now the main aim of the game:
They pick off random boxes out of the remaining twenty two boxes each with a certain sum of money in it. They of course don’t know what is in these boxes, and getting rid of each box means that they won’t have that in their box at the end.(IE if they accidentally choose the box with £250,000 in it, then they find out they won’t be winning that amount of money.)

The contestant then recieves a call from the banker, who makes them a monetary offer based on which sums of money they have taken out of the game. The contestant then decides to ‘deal’ or ‘no deal’. If they deal, they end the game and take away the money offered, if they decline, they play on.

So after every three boxes that they take out of the game, they recieve an offer from the banker.

By the end of the game, they hope to have not taken out the higher sums of money, so either they can get a high final offer, or hopefully, have a high number in their box.

Hope that explains things a bit, though it is complicated.

Worth watching, even if to see Noel Edmunds occasional hideous shirt!

I think you’ve misunderstood the concept of ‘worth watching’ there ;) It is, however, horribly addictive so only start watching if you’re willing to give it your full attention for 45 minutes.

It fucks me off how it is trying to pretend to be something its not.

Its not a game of stategy, its a game of chance - there are no real tactics - a monkey could pick out boxes one at a time.

And for fucks sake Noel - get on with it!

Yeah, him and Mike Smith had a stunt go wrong or something and I think someone died on a bungee. Please correct me if i’m wrong, I can’t really remember!

The thought of him being back on tv is to much to bear though!

This is a pretty funny deal or no deal article from the guy that writes Nathan Barley:

that was very good! Is Nathan Barley worth watching? I halfwatched one episode and it seemed a bit flimsy, if not entertaining…

When it’s good it’s very very good. I pretty sure the guy who wrote that (Charlie Brooker) based Dan on himself
