I know some of the heavy metal fans on here won’t be bothered by this but if you’re open minded about music check out ‘I’m wide awake its morning’. Its a fantastic Acoustic country album with some rock influences obvious on alot of the tracks.
Download it if you wish, but check it out, its a fantastic record.
Don’t go for his other record released last year though(‘Digital ash in a digital urn’) unless your a fan of electro indie stuff like the postal service.
I’m wide awake its morning is a fantastic album and much better than Digital ash…

i’m a fan, but for me he’s like Ryan Adams: he just releases way too much stuff. No quality control. If they just slowed down and thought abot what they were doing you’d get one fantastic album every couple of years instead of an ok one every 5 minutes. I’m not a fan of this “2 albums released at once” thing.

The two he released last year was only because one was an experimental album, rather than a normal Bright eyes one. The experiment album was only for people who wanted a mainstream pop bright eyes, to see what it would be like to stray away from his alt country stylings, which is fair enough. It’s not as though he was releasing two albums of the same genre with little variation(Ie SOAD).
