Clutch are worth the £130 alone. I’ve never seen what the big deal about tool are, but hey i guess they sell tickets.

Aiden are overrated as fuck though, why do they get 4 pages in kerrang! about fuck all yet therapy? are unveling a new album in the same issue and get half a page.

Well, probably in the hope that prepubescent kids with all the taste of Timmy Mallet will mistake it for My Chemical Romance and buy it in droves. That’s my guess.

But, yeah, tool, eh? Can’t wait now :D

I’m sorry, but Radiohead and Morrisey beat all of the bands on Download put together. Fact.

Yep, Radiohead, MORRISSEY, Bloc Party, Editors, Rufus wainwright, The Go! Team, James Dean Bradfield(Uh oh) and Kasabian. I don’t care if it’s corporate, It has a fantastic line-up.

Of those… I’d definitely see Morrissey, almost certainly Radiohead out of curiosity, maybe Bloc Party, but otherwise… sorry, not my thing. At least at Download we have Axl Rose as target practice for our piss bottles :p

:p
Downloads not my thing. Emo bands, And a load of sweaty old men playing 80’s ‘Classics’(see Metallica and G’N’R). Not very fun.

Think about it, Morrissey, Or Cradle of filth??

Yeah, there are a sad amount of emo bands and shameful throwbacks, but still, the side stages tend to have more than a few great bands - Therapy?, Helmet, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Dresden Dolls and Naplam Death to name but a few from last year.

Although the fact that Nightwish, Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil are all on there bothers me - aren’t they the same band?

That must be the worst festival line-up ever

Good that we all have a different taste :D

I agree, you’re certainly not going to get Therapy? at V festival, and I would kill to see The eighties b-line matchbox disaster…But Radiohead…Come on people , They produced (arguably) the best album of the Nineties. OK computer was better than Urban Hymns, Nevermind and all the rest. I don’t want to have to travel down to London to see Radiohead in some smelly arena!

But everyone to their own tastes!!

I’d recommed Eighties Matchbox - seen ‘em three times and they just get better. Played some new material last time - very promising.

plus download has a better atmosphere and more of my mates are up for it.

Indeed, Reminds me of the sort of music you would find on the mighty boosh. Infact, I think they composed a song for a show in the second series…

nah , theyll be singing ‘Exit Light Enter Night, Take My Hand Off to never never land’ but you’ll have to be at the main stage on saturday night during the headline slot as i can only get hold of the 70,000+ choir members at that time.
