A little bit of Therapy?

#

Started by Divers (Simon)

Right this may not even deserve a mention but…In kerrang this week one of the album reviewers must have a preview copy because in the small box saying what is playing in the kerrang office they Mention the new album and all they say about it is

“riff after riff after riff!”

Corking!:D

:o you are of course most correct - that has no place being mentioned on a Therapy? site.

Yeah! Let’s be rude about Kerrang again! No-one from the magazine would ever check this website to see if T? fans are readers, and therefore T? should be in the mag more, bet that never happens! Yeah!

Kerrang! are really big supporters of T? Always have been. The editor Paul Brannigan is a big T? fan, he always rates the current T? album as one of his top albums of the year.

I interviewed T? with Brannigan, and Paul Harries the photographer, a few years back and you could tell they were fans, and quite good friends with the band, as far as I could tell.

There was a letter in Kerrang! a couple of months ago saying how good it was that Kerrang! continue to support Therapy? which I totally agree with.

People complain that Kerrang! only features the most recent ‘fad’ bands (god I hate HIM) but thats what they have to do to be successful. Thats the name of the game. But at least they do cover the slightly less popular bands still. Just read the bits you want to and ignore HIM, Bullet For My Valentine, etc

I don’t read Kerrang so I don’t bother. Like most intelligent people I make my own decisions and form my own opinions.

Form your opinions based on what?

How do you find out about anything in the music business without reading, seeing or hearing it somewhere?

Just because I read the music press doesn’t make me unintelligent. I gather the information available and make an informed decision myself.

Haven’t bought Kerrang for over 4 years now, but it’s always nice to see someone post about them getting a mention in there. Metal has got really shit over the last 5 years IMHO and I only stick to older bands.

Try Mastodon, Casabian, Reuben. They are modern bands doing good (and very heavy) things!
