That’s a bit of a rancid arse then isn’t it? Sounds a bit like that lamearse Bristol fest that T? had to pull out of a couple of years back.

Fingers crossed than that it DOES actually go ahead and I get to see T? at least, but by the sounds of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole thing gets pulled.

piffslaps, thats annoying

Not that the forum was up to much but it has suspiciously gone down now. One post appeared with a rumour about it’s venue changing.

All starting to sound dodgy to me.

You shouldn’t bother buying tickets for them… it’ll just be cancelled again

I contacted T?’s manager - to the best of his knowledge the show is still on but it will most likely move to the University of Northumbria. That’s not final though. I’ll let you know if I hear more.

If this had been advertised from the beginning as being at the Uni then imo a load more tickets would have been sold (pretty good venue, far better than newcastle uni)!

Shame this has been cancelled. Would be curious to have known how many tickets they shifted!

If ther’s cake, that’ll be something. As it is, there’s:

Travel to the venue
Hotel room overnight
Gift for the happy couple, or at least for the hot babe getting married and the bloke whathisname.

All for an evening do only, pah!

T? would have been cheaper & with better music. :(

But she is a babe. Couldn’t really let her down.

Title: Theft

So, I saw the line up for this festival featured Therapy? and Ginger, and I thought “now that sounds like my kind of show!” So I faithfully stumped up my £35 or whatever, then hear nothing. A ticket arrives at my house, and I find out that Ginger has cancelled and then I find out that the whole gig is off.

Now that’s kind of annoying but at least I get my money back yeah? No.

I went to their website, sent away my ticket and asked for a refund. only to find a few days later that tentrock, the promoters have gone into liquidation and aren’t paying out any refunds.

Now stop me if you’ve heard this, but I smell a rat. An unheard of company sets up a festival, takes the money, folds and demands that you send back the tickets for a refund which never emerges? That sounds like a great way to take people’s money without ever intending to put on the show and to leave people without any proof of purchase or even the ticket itself so that there’s precious little that you can do.

Anyone else feel like someones taking a shafting and you’re the one with your pants round your ankles?

Who else got stung by this?

Any official word from Therapy? on this? They’ve had their share of troubles with dodgy promoters in the past, haven’t they?
