Will ‘One Cure Fits All’ make it to our American shores

Seeing that NANE never made it over here what’s the chances of the new one being released over here?I’m not trying to start trouble here just wondering how many of the North American fans bought NANE on import and are prepared to do so with the new one?I see Amazon UK already has it listed for 12 pound.I will fork over the money for it cause that’s the kinda guy i am but if the guys know something about a domestic release in the near future then i may hold off.I’m really excited about this, wasn’t a big fan of NANE but it’s T? so i keep it for a later time to explore at a later date.

Mmmmmmm…red wine…:p

I doubt it after what Andy said recently:

THE AMERICAN INDUSTRY SEEMS TO WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH US.
we’ve expressed interest time and time again to U.S. companies that we’re more than prepared to come over for all the touring and promotion that they can throw at us…TO NO AVAIL WHATSOEVER.
if AMERICA EVEN SHOWED THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF INTEREST IN THERAPY? we would be over like a shot but as it is NO ONE AMERICAN WANTS TO SIGN US, NO AMERICAN AGENT WANTS TO BOOK US.

WE have tried EVERY POSSIBILITY and had doors shut in our face. YOUR COUNTRY DOES NOT APPEAR TO WANT US.

Title: US MARKET

Why does every band think if they’re gonna make it, they have to crack the US. i know its a lot of money, and success but fuck them, there idiots.
Take Rammstein, they were huge for years before the US even noticed them. Now they are touring and selling millions of albums. And the majority of the yanks don’t understand the lyrics.
Monkey see as monkey do.

Has anyone even taken a look at the US album charts lately:

1 High School Musical -Soundtrack

2 New Kidz Bop Kidz Bop Kids

3 Curious George (Soundtrack) Jack Johnson

4 The Breakthrough Mary J. Blige

5 Back To Bedlam James Blunt

6 The Greatest Songs Of The Fifties Barry Manilow

7 Amore - Andrea Bocelli

8 Curtain Call - The Hits - Eminem

9 Some Hearts Carrie Underwood

10 Ghetto Classics - Jaheim

11 Monkey Business - Black Eyed Peas

12 Unpredictable - Jamie Foxx

13 The Way It Is - Keyshia Cole

14 Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson

15 On Top Of Our Game - Dem Franchize Boyz

16 Your Man - Josh Turner

17 All The Right Reasons - Nickelback

18 Chris Brown - Chris Brown

19 It’s Time - Michael Buble

20 RE The Legend Of Johnny Cash Johnny Cash

I think Therapy? will and can survive without the US market,
maybe its a blessing in disguise. Going underground isn’t such a bad thing afterall.

I think the American fans just want to know if they’ll ever get a T? release in the USA again. I don’t think its about Therapy? wanting to ‘crack’ America. No record company is prepared to do that, I mean T? are a 17 year old band with 12 albums under their belt. Bit late to try and crack new markets on any kind large scale.

Still, it would be nice to think their albums were at least available worldwide.

come on man NANE is a fucking blast!

know what would be cool though? If they’d re-record some old songs in a modern studio and let someone do some remixes of newer songs (I usually dig the ones that are around already) and release that joint. Boy imagine how Potato Junkie or Neckfreak would sound with a NANE production, it makes me drool to think of it.

when i cant get albums over here i get a friend from england or ireland send me a copy, as i did with nane. then in return i sent them some disks that they cant find over there or pick up a US tour shirt at a show for them.
i’ve been doing this for the 5 years i lived in america and it’s always worked out really well.
thats my best advice!

I think its a shame as T? did pretty good business in the past considering they built from nothing. That chart listing is appalling though!! Barry Manilow is back?!

I hope you’re joking. Otherwise, you may have to think about whether or not Therapy? are the band for you…

I know and what about James Blunt?
What is it with people buying his records?
Are his lyrics hypnotic, and make people really buy it.

He’s the worst fucking asshole to make a hit since simply red.
And as for “chico (time)” at least he knows he’s a dick.
Which is amusing, with artists like that you can laugh and
say enjoy your 15 secs, but James fucking Cunt is just scarily successful.

Anyone agree???

Manilow cancels out T?, so you now effectively have a clean slate with which to convince us you have taste. ;)

Think I have his album ( Whispering Jack ? ) somewhere under a pile of dust with the said song on it. Bought about 20 years ago in a romantic mood.
Got a spin twice in all that time…

As for the US charts , very scary , although having Johnny Cash in there makes up for Barry Manilow big time ;)
