Gotta agree there - it’s a real shame there won’t be anymore :( I remember looking closely in one episode and seeing a newspaper that said ‘Win a holiday in Cambodia!’ which made me chuckle :D

I don’t know much about The Goodies but Graeme Garden is an absolute comedy genius, perchance only in his later work?

Evil hypnotist! Such a good sketch.
And the police press conference that took place on one of those pirate boat rides that tips upside down. :)
Not quite ‘brilliant’ British comedy , but does anyone actually remember the Glam Metal Detectives?

I loved that! The jockeys interfering with the fire brigade is one of the best things I have ever seen! And the kid catching fire while learning to ride a bike! Awesome!
The Mary Whitehouse Experience is amazing too!

my fave Big Train sketch was the fella in the bar who thinks that folk are talking abot him not being married.
“if you say anything else abot me not being married i’ll put your FUCKING HEAD THRU THE WALL”. Genius.
Oh, and sketch of Jesus and Satan working in the office together.

Anything with Mark Heap is bound to be good… at least for the bits when he’s on screen.

the 1st series, which is a school science program spoof, is amazingly funny
the second series, where it changed to a tomorrows world type thing, was a bit of a let down
as for mark heap - i remember when he used to be on a kids saturday morning tv show, cant remember which. might have been ghost train. what do you think of green wing? i thought it was gonna be great but theres just not enough funny bits

Cant believe people are forgetting about the Bee Gee’s shoot out. Seeing Barry Gib re-loading a six-shooter whilst singing ‘Staying alive’ under his breath whilst crying slightly is a sight that will long live in the head :)
Also the postman getting revenge on the Dog is hilarious.

The first series, where they did the parodies of videos you had to watch in school was brilliant, I didn’t like the Tomorrow’s World style series nearly as much.
Best line has to be (after filming some ants building an igloo)… “Thanks, ants. Thants.” :D
