Spread the Word

#

Started by Zorn

Always think of a time like this, when we’re looking forward to a new album, as a great time of ‘spreading the word’.

I always buy multiple copies of a new T? album, one for my best mate (can’t trust him to buy it quickly), one for my brother-in-law in the U.S., another for my brother-in-law in Mexico, another - of course - for me.

My brother-in-law in Minnesota particularly loves T? and tells everyone he can about them.

I’m not rich but I feel I owe it to the band… I’ve felt so proud to be a T? fan for all these years and, heh, if I can spread the word internationally, that’s great.

So, in the spirit of a new T? album, buy a copy for your friend’s birthday, buy a copy for your ex-girlfriend or boyfriend to show how cool you were, buy a copy for your neighbour, hell even buy a copy for your grandma.

Let’s get ready to ROCK!

Well, like to help where I can.

The reason I posted this in the first place was that I personally needed an antidote to the “OCFA reviews please…” thread which I found depressing in lots of respects.

I mean, Michael and Andy having to get involved? Great to hear from them as always but, pretty sad they needed to.

Anyway, let’s keep this thread positive and, if you haven’t pre-ordered OCFA for your neighbour, boss, friend, wife, husband, parter, relative, colleague, street, town or city, now’s the time to do so.

Let’s get T? back on the map, let’s support our band!

A basic truth: the more we support T? the longer they will rock. I’m looking forward to supporting them when I’m 80 (I think Andy will be 81 then).

Final thought: illegal downloading - (he says, tongue in cheek) - JUST SAY NO!

Just don’t read the replies on the messageboard! Hahaha. They’ll be total bullshit. The people there don’t take lightly to non-metal reviews unless you’re one of the “favorites” on the board, then you can review jazz and people will be totally positive. Hahaha. I’m not a board favorite. :(

My ex doesn’t get shit from me, she doesn’t deserve something as cool as a T? cd. I have said to a mate that if he doesn’t have the cash to go see T? when they tour I will lend him it as I’m insisting that he goes. Hell, I’ll probably drag most of my house like I did with the Levellers.

Great idea Zorn!! :D

Unfortunately, I’m a 14 year old boy, and I don’t get a lot of money of my parents (My mum’s a single parent). I’m definately going to buy a CD for myself, if I can afford it, I’ll buy one for my best friend too…

Nice one Zorn!

Your post inspired me to pre-order a copy for my friend. He’s a T? fan for a long time (like me), but can’t go to gigs and stuff because he has a family - 3 kids

He went with me to a great T? gig exactly 10 years ago today in Dublin, so I thought I’d buy the album for him.

And for Therapy? of course!
