Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Jesus fuckin’ Christ, what an excellent movie. The only problem was that me and my friend were as stoned as two little monkies (gone to heaven) which made it quite hard to read the (Dutch!) subtitles in time. The dialogue is in Mandarin, you see. Well, the English couple next to us had a much harder time. We heard her say:’I told you so, asshole.’ Ten minutes later they left.

During the movie I wasn’t that impressed, the next day I woke up and had the feeling I had just seen one of the most brilliant movie for days!

Yes, it is a very good movie. I saw it this Sunday because it’s being released again, so if you got the chance(and you haven’t seen it already) go and see it. And, isn’t Jen the most beautiful creature on earth? I think i’m in love.

Very true, an excellent movie.
The cinema was mostly empty when I saw it, apart from this elderly chinese couple sitting right behind me laughing away to themeselves. It didn’t annoy me.
What did annoy the fuck out of me were the neds (uk term for track suit wearing, pop music liking, assholes) in the front row, who obviously didn’t have the mental capacity for a film like that, and got bored towards the end, so started phoning each other on their fuckin’ mobile phones. Grrrrrr.
Why isn’t killing neds a sport?

I fell in love with her also. The moment I asked my friend whether he would want to fuck her, the little monkey started laughing loud saying he was thinking about the same thing right that moment.

Since we ‘re talking about movies, i saw The Devil’s Advocate last night on TV and i was amazed. I ‘d seen it in cinema when it came out, but i hadn’t really noticed it and didn’t get the point.
I ‘ve done a lot of thinking since i saw it and i think it has changed the way i see things from now on. To me it’s one of the few films that have a real meaning and that can influence you so much. So, if anyone hasn’t seen it (thats pretty unlikely i think)
i highly recomment that you do so.

I just like the whole ‘the 20th century belongs to me’ rant that Al Pacino does at the end of the film, spectacular…note to self, learn the whole rant.
