Although I loved NANE, I didn’t feel the same way about it; it wasn’t an album I would often to listen to in one sitting. But saying that, it probably is the best thing since Troublegum/SD in my opinion.

I’m the exact opposite. I’d listen to NANE, Caucasian Psychosis, Suicide Pact and Nurse all the way through, but maybe not Infernal Love, probably not Troublegum, and definitly not Semi-Detatched, High Anxiety or Shameless.

:o Right. I always thought pencils had LED’s inside them.

Those are for dogs.

Does the phrase ‘this is getting silly’ seem redundant, do you think? ;)

I’m one of the lucky sods with a review copy of one cure fits all. I wasn’t particularly impressed at first listen, but I think that’s a t? thing - you (or I, at any rate) just don’t get them first time round. meanwhile I’ve listened a few more times, and frankly it’s fuckin ace. pretty dark, atmospheric, heavy. and those songs are going to be excellent live.

One cure fits all is amazing in some places but some songs tend to blag on and are really boring.

My bro said that is takes you until the NEXT therapy? album to love the current one :D

This was true for SPYF and NANE - which are now amongst my favourite albums.

Listened to Infernal Love last night - what an album !

Hm, everyone is entitled to an opinion and it is all a matter of taste, but I see High Anxiety as return to form and NANE as a progression on that. Worst albums??? meh…

I personally found the albums with Graham Hopkins behind the drum kit were the most disappointing, but I guess we will have to agree to disagree on that one… :)

I don’t really agree, although I think most WOMbles do. “High Anxiety” was the first album were Therapy? were looking back instead of ahead. Yes, “Shameless” was a bit of a dissapointment, but at least the band was still trying to push some boundaries and they were going for a different approach. Since Graham was the drummer on “Semi-Detached” and “SP-YF” I would hardly call that period of time in T?’s career dissapointing. I’m a bit more critical when it comes to Neil’s drumming, though.
Anyway, “High Anxiety” had some very good songs on it and some rather half-assed ones. It’s not an album I can listen to as a whole. Now, “NANE” I put in the same category for a while, but it’s grown on me. I like the overall atmosphere and the dark production. This is much more distinctive than HA and it’s more consistent throughout, although it doesn’t have any real standouts such as “If It Kills Me” or “My Voodoo Doll”.

What I’ve heard of OCFA so far doesn’t really sound like T? were exploring new territory again, but I like “Sprung”, “Rain Hits Concrete” and “Dopamine…” a lot. OCFA has the potential of becoming my favorite Neil album so far.

Dunno, Graham was a good drummer, I just didn’t feel that his style suited Therapy? I guess Fyffe was a tough act for anyone to follow. Since Neil has taken over the drumkit, I think they have regained a lot of power which was lacking in the Graham albums, plus the Rhythm Section of T? now is more experimental - was pretty straight and boring with Graham I thought.
