They’re so fuckin’ awesome, just continuing the soulful side of The Afghan Whigs.

twilight singers, and especially greg dulli, is sex pressed on a cd. I can’ begin to tell you how much I like them, there are no words. I just hope they pay me a visit in belgium, or holland, or somewhere remotly close to where I live, because I need a greg dulli-fix, and I need it fast

They’re confirmed for the Haldern festival (quite close to the German-Dutch border) on the weekend of August sth.

at first I didn’t want to go to hasselt, because 57€ for one band is just too much, but than I saw the dresden dolls were also comming, and some other bands I like, so it doesn’t sound that expensive anymore :)

That’s true though you can’t compare a festival gig with a decent club show.

I’ll let you know what to expect from Mr Dulli and Mr Lanegan.

Well I’ll at least check out the last 10 minutes as that’s when Keane start playing (who the missus apparently likes  ) :)

I tell you what sam, you and the missus check out the twilight singers over a nice pint of beer (or softdrink, whatever you prefer) I have bought for you.

If you want, I can send you a song or two of their new album. It’s a bit rougher than what you heard from the afghan whigs.

The missus will be watching The Raconteurs and Keane during the Twilight Singers’ set, so I may check them out alone :) Apart from Massive Attack and Radiohead we both want to see completely different bands at the festival, so have amicably agreed to split up during it :)

Sure, send me a couple of mp3s when you get a chance…cheers :)

C’mon Sam, you should know that our judgment is a trademark of quality.

Besides, I’d rather listen to a screeching door than watch a Keane gig.
