… I was an animal at times. I’d go for being a cat. These creatures have it all worked out. They sleep, eat, sleep and sleep more. Once they get bored, go for a stroll in ‘hood, chase some birds (!!!) around, maybe kill a mouse if they are up for it, come back to the house, get a nice cuddle and pat and off to sleep again. Oh, and they shag like there is no tomorrow for a few weeks twice a year.

What more can you wish for?

i’d like to think that in a field somewhere theres a pheasant and a crow holding court amongst several of their bird mates going “No, really, i shit you not!! He was DRIVING a car! Just…driving!! Can you believe that shit??”

Why don’t you try and find them again and see if you can talk to them, like Dr Doolittle?

Buy a carrier pigeon, you could send it to pass on a message to them. Get them to fly down to Derby and have a bit of a party round your place.
