Outro

Started by Dennis

Is the idea of “Outro” like a mind-fuck thing along the lines of “You Are My Sunshine” on Troublegum?

What I mean is, if you have the CD on “Repeat” function, you’ll get to the end of Walk Through Darkness, then get Outro, with the WTD refrain all quiet and messed up…and it’ll kind of sound like the end of something rather than the start and then… BAM! With no warning, you get Sprung bashing into your skull again.

Anyone tried that yet…?

Yeah, I’ve tried it, sadly enough :) It doesn’t -quite- work. Not least cos the Outro bit is a step down from WTD. But it’s a nice kinda idea.

A bit like Pearl Jam’s Ten, with Master/Slave at the beginning and end. Almost.

:)

I was clever, you see. I got the version with it already synched up. It doesn’t, really, you know.

Maybe it’s called Outro because they want you play the album backwards.

If you play ‘Hey Satan - You Rock’ backwards, there’s apparently a nice recipe for choc chip cookies.
