Whats the point at having a go at Hearsay ? Yes they are manufactured, but if someone gave everyone the opportunity for fame and fortune for doing something they love, I dont know a single person who would turn them down. So, they’re not as exciting or dont touch you in the same way as Therapy? do - me neither,but to my mind the Hearsay concept is a lot more valid than most because its being honest. I can think of much much blander bands (but whats the point, forget ‘em!)

I dont really get the point of your post…you say that the charts are actually becoming more open to rock bands, but then you want to separate it from everything else thats out there. It all sounds a little like the age-old teenage problem of ‘I am a rock/indie/dance fan and I dont want anyone else to listen to MY music because then I wont be cool any more’.

Ive been a fan of Therapy? since Babyteeth came out and my first experience of seeing them live have made me a life long fan. The best moments for me have been seeing T? playing on prime time TV playing fucking brilliant pop songs like Screamager and Nowhere.
Why cordon it off into a late night show - so, if we dont see Therapy ? on there every week (which would be as boring as seeing A1 play Live and Kicking every week really), no problem, it just makes it all the more special when they do.

Like you, not quite sure what I’m getting at here :-) but I hate seeing these ‘pop is bland and rubbish’ attitude!

p.s. for the record, I love Hearsay, Sugababes, All Saints and the Spice Girls, as well as being a hardcore Therapy? fan. But I also hate Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, A1 and Steps…work it out for yourselves.

i agree. everyone to their own. in my opinion everybody has shit taste in music if they dont like the music i like, and everyone else thinks that i have shit taste in music…

i went a long way around explaining my point (and i didnt do it very well, sorry but im tired!). what im trying to say is every1 has different tastes so let them listen to what they want to listen to. listen to your own music and enjoy it. at least here we can all agree that therapy? are class!!

ok; here’s one, seeing as this is a non-t? bit of the board, i have a question. I would first however like to explain that I believe in being who i am and not purposefully changing to accomodate any1 else, and that i don’t use chat-up lines for anything other than a giggle. ok, here’s the question:

now the reason why i’m thinking about it: on sat nite i bumped into a friend’s ex that i hadn’t seen in a while. she’s a bit of a laugh, and very cute, so i left my freinds for a bit to sit with her. i ended up with her and her friends (we were the only ones not drinking guiness, and so we didn’t have hats. dammit!) all evening, and were having a great time. at the moment, i’m trying to write some pirate songs with her ex, the idea being that if we are on stage as pirates, when we get off, still dressed as pirates, we’ll have a legitamate reason to put our hands on any girls hips and say ‘she be a fine vessel!’. now, i was thinking about doing this and how cheesy it was, i know, but hey, it’s all for fun isn’t it? so, i did. I said it in my best pirate captain voice; and guess what!? I’m going out with her now! how mental is that?

get over it and get a life. Hear’say rock. Stop trying to be controversial. If you hate them fine, just don’t force your opinions on me. I have enough trouble getting to grips with my own, I don’t need anyone elses.

i wouldn’t use a line seriously, and i have a pretty cheeky cheesy grin that goes with, so generally people understand that I am only trying to be light-hearted and humorous. around christmas time, at a local fetish night, i was walking around, putting my arm around whoevr took my fancy, with a book called ‘The bluffers guide to seduction’ quite blatantly in my hand, and just literary reading lines straight out of it, and not modifying them, so i ended up saying things like ‘You are simply, dash, utterly amazing’, or ‘You hair is such a nice brown slash blonde slash red delete as applicable’ you would not beleive the kind of response i got! it was awesome!

well change it again. im sick of that topic.
