Therapy on Octopus festival

#

Started by Theng

So Andy confirmed on Stubru that they’ll play there (Nivelles, Belgium).

It’s not mentioned on the festival’s site yet.

This site: http://www.festivalnoise.be claims that they’ll play the first day.

Somebody out there can confirm this?

No surprises and a normal festival setlist I guess.

Sound was excellent, Mass Hysteria was kind of ok, it just sucks they sing in French.

So here goes:

Sprung
Turn
Accelerator
Knives
Screamager
Rain Hits Concrete
Our White Noise
Rust
Rock You Monkeys (the normal version and not the crappy jazz one thank God)
Polar Bear
Teethgrinder
Isolation
Die Laughing
Nowhere
Walk Through Darkness
Diane (rock version)

Hey,Robby

I’ll give you some fast french lessons soon I hope :D:

well,Mass Hysteria has been singing in French for years,I could say it’s normal for a french band but most of french bands have really bad accent when they sing in English so it could appear ridiculous…Believe me,even though I don’t really appreciate this band, their lyrics in French are not stupid ;).

The music of Mass Hysteria was still kind of ok, sorry but it just sucks to hear them sing in French.

Not to lead this thread astray but I also prefer English lyrics. If Rammstein had English lyrics, their music would almost be OK.

Indochine would be bigger than let’s say…Placebo.

Evilbeast (Dany Brillant) wrote:

 Indochine could be bigger than Placebo…Not a chance…

Nicolas Sirkis, the lead singer has been singing out of key in French for almost 25 years, and we’re a lot to think that in France…So I let you imagine the result in English with the French accent :D .

We’ll never know, will we? I don’t think they’ll ever put out a record in English.

Ladyboy is a class tune and about mr Sirkis singing out of tune: that’s part of the charm. Just look at David Byrne and Björk.
