Check out my new baby..it’s okay to drool :)

lighter and thinner than the SG standard, and the upper frets are more accessable.

Warm crunch which deliver a real punch but still lets the notes be heard within a chord.

Around £800

My mate got one a little while ago. It’s awesome, but I love my Voodoo V too much to have eyes for anything else.

Hmm… that bass isn’t what I’d go for in terms of brand- really don’t like Ernie Ball instruments. FOUR knobs for one pickup? And the idea of only having ONE pickup- how are you supposed to shred on that? And if you’re not supposed to shred, maybe it allows you to slap? Nope. Not with that string spacing. Fingerstyle? Nope- the pickup position means that if you use it as guidance (which isn’t easy on this style of pickup, and if you touch those coils you’ll get horrible buzz), you’ll be at a tenser part of the string making it unnescessarily difficult. If you don’t use it as guidance, your playing will be uneven and a bit rubbish.

And five strings with only 22 frets? The hell’s the point? Next time get six with 32 and be a real man!

Basically, its an istrument for bass players who are failed guitar player- playing just the root notes with a pick.

The style gets on my tits and all.

OK, rant over. Each to their own, hope you’re happy with your purchase. I was only say… 20% serious.

It’s obvious you never played or heard this instrument. Your assumptions are therefore not reliable, but you’re entitled to your own opinion, off course.

Any musicman I’ve played, I’ve hated, though (guitars and basses).
