Ah, you will be fine - as long as you remember to get some Euro. For some odd reason, people from the north tend to think we except sterling down here…

My two favourite bands on the same bill, one after another… in another fucking country!

Pardon the language, but I’m a little emotional.

Know what you mean, I think it is the first time in my life where something like this actually worked in my favour.

Look here mr poo i bought my download tickets 4 months ago any the freesate version was only set up a few weeks bac and all i am sayin is that i want my hometown band to play uk download. and i am goin there because i want to see 80 bands over 3 days on 3 stages not 8 over 2 on 2 stages who are emo scum anyway. We want ni representation at the biggest rock festival in the uk and why not the best ni rock band there is.

Well,

Last time I was in the North I had rocks hurled at my car because it has a Dublin registration.

Do I generalise and put all inhabitants of that area into one pot? No.

You obviously ran into some stupid assholes (they are everywhere I am afraid, even where you come from) + I don’t think this is the kind of website to be discussing such stupid matters.

We are all here to celebrate a band that we love.

Let us leave it at that, no?

Sorry mate didnt see that last post, i agree we shud not really not discussing that we shud be celebrating the band. i was origionally just makin a point that i wanted one of my favoutite bands to play a festival thats has cost me alot of money for some asshole to tell me its my fault for goin to the uk, u tell me thats not sectarian, if download ireland was set up whan i bought my ticket i wud hav went ther instead, cos all tha major bands are playin that i want to see at download Korn, metallica, g’n’r and therapy aswell, and it wud hav cost half as much. So apologise for my outburst and hope it could be forgot about after all we might be different religions, but are both therapy fans and both from ireland albeit from different sides.bury the hatchet

No probs man, I would be pissed off that they are not playing there either and still think it would be in there benefit to play there.

Am however happy to finally have something like Download Dublin - we get sweet FA otherwise.

I am sure the guy in the comment from earlier was only messing anyways - good bit of friendly slagging on this site - no need for what happened above however.

Enjoy Download UK, you will have a blast + I would be shocked if Therapy? didn’t finish the tour with some official gig in Belfast - would be a first, I think.

No, no, no. We should all hate eachother, that’s the way things are historically done. There’s a shitty tradition to uphold here, people!! :p

Seriously though, I do hope they play proper gigs in Belfast & Dublin. I assume they’ll get about 50mins only at the Axl Rose Band gig, but I need more!

I guess they’re not playing Download UK this year cos they played there last year?
