I’m surprised you haven’t already checked my tabs Andrew!

It’s in DGCFAD this time, so all strings tuned down two frets each.

Cool! Thanks Joseph! Hey what happened to the good old days of standard tuning???!!!! I still love and write in E!!!! Don’t worry bro, I’ll check out your tabs for sure man…

dude, can you get that Knives solo done?

also man, I will literally kiss your feet!, if you can tab out some Feeder for me…have you any of their albums…??

my email is hrno28@yahoo.com.au

I don’t think it’s appropriate to have the Feeder tabs done on this site (I might be bashed!!!) so maybe if you email them too me…

also man, if you want my album for free just include your address!

Thanks Joeseph!!! Tab man extrordinaire!

Er…I already have it…and why would you want to part with yours??

Or something entirely different? In which case ignore the above sentence.

No, suicide pact isn’t in drop D. Ten year plan is in standard D, for example. Jam Jar jail in in standard E, as is most of the album, I think.

Acutally, could God Kicks be in standard D? Is that why playing the chords in standard tuning doesn’t quite sound right, because you should actually be playing in different formations?

Also, could some of the new album be in standard- any songs at all? Saw them live last night, and I couldn’t quite keep track of the tunings during the guitar changes (I think he might be playing 2 different but identical Framus guitars now?) but I think they played a few OCFA tunes in standard… maybe not.

Joe- opinions, stat!

Hmmm, swore I saw Martin play the riff in drop-D at some point. But I may have just seen what I wanted to see!

Nah not the whole thing.

Think Little Tongues First is, and maybe Big Cave-In and that’s it. 10 Year plan is straight D, and Other People’s misery is tuned down to C.

Tune the lowest string 2 frets lower. With your left hand raised in the air like !m! hit the lowest 3 strings on the guitar. That’s what drop tuning is. Wanna makes a career out of it? It’s even easier than playing bass!

er… I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but that’s not right at all…

Here’s how it goes.

In DGCFAD;

D]-00000—44444—22222—22222-
A]-00000—44444—22222—22222-
F]-22222—66666—44444—44444-
C]-22222—66666—44444—44444-
G]-00000—44444—22222—22222-
D]——————————————

These are all suspended chords, can’t remember which kind. They sound a bit fuller than power chords. As you see, there are open strings, so you need the lower tuning to play this one.

The arpeggios next,

Asus, Bsus, C#/AbSus

Pre Chorus;

D]-3——-x————————
A]-3——-3————————
F]-0——-2————————
C]-0——-0————————
G]-x——-x————————
D]-3——-x—-2323232323232

Chorus again (intro riff)

Think that’s everything, there are some bends just after the sample though. This is how I tabbed it in my OCFA tab, which STILL isn’t finished…

Enjoy

Joe.
