Yes, it was a highlight for us meeting you Robby and Roxy and spend time with you:).
That amusementpark trip with you will always be in you memories, what a nice day it was:) Althought that heat wasn´t so nice and the sweating like hell all the time. Thank god there was this waterboat thing which cooled us down. And thax already for that picture! I´ll try to get the cdr with pics and clips to you during this week.

And it was nice to meet Max Cavalera and of course our Neil Super Cooper, he is always so nice and gentle:)

The shitty thing about getting older is that you cannot stand stress and travelling so much as younger..It feels now that I´ve done an marathon. But I´d do anything for T?:D

And thanx for showing us the right direction to Frankfurt Hahn Roxy & Robby; I guess we´d been lost again without that:( It´s really stressy to drive there in Germany as you have to drive like hell too:eek: In Finland it´s “child´s play” to drive:)

Thank god we still have this week vacation, so I don´t have say vittu…oops, I said it, perkele:D

Very nice picture, and great stories… I couldn’t convince Jan to go to germany for that gig… he doesn’t really like festivals :(

We don´t like festivals either that much but this was the closest T? show for us and we had some really good company there:)
You and Jan must come to Finland! Hope that a gig or two in Finland will be in their autumn tourplan. And then to Russia from our country:)

Yeah what more can I add?

It was really nice meeting you Petri and Kati …and yes roller coasters are much more fun, then sitting the entire day in the sun listening to crappy music.
And nice to hear that you got home safe! Hope to see you lovely people once again.

For the rest, yeah well…this was indeed the strangest festival ever…at a Gasstation, direct next to the highway and completely empty…but well…we enjoyed ourselves.

and yeah sabi, we thought it was you, when you came over, while we were talking to neil. we were the ones telling neil, to not just write his name on your autograph ;)…

oh yeah, and Steve, who’s replacing Mole is a nice fellow as well, it seems!

so i think now everything is said about this gig.

Much respect to T? for not giving up and for kicking the audiences ass! Maybe there are some new fans now, cause after Rust i had the feeling more and more people were getting into it starting headbanging…and that’s the way, it has to be, no?!

many greetings
roxy

After a weekend with hardly any sleep I feel like a truck ran over me now

But it was definately an experience to remember :D

Roxy and I promise to study the bad Finnish words very good before we come to Finland so people understand us over there :D

Bring on the Belgian shows

One must question the organisation’s intelligence for organising the festival on the same weekend as Earthshaker Fest. Which no doubt was responsible for the low turnout. That, and a lineup which consisted of heaps of crappy bands.

Sadly I saw sod all of the T? show. According to the time table they were supposed to play from 22:30 until 0:00, but when I turned up at 23:50 (after the AF show), they were already doing the change over for Oomph!. Did I miss something?

Having said all that, I did enjoy myself, despite not having seen T?, but Mambo Kurt was awesome (‘dodgy’, but in a good sort of way), and I was quite impressed by both Eisheilig and Funker Vogt.

Obviously there are no pics of T? this time, but there are some of After Forever.

well, i found out a bit more about the reason, why it was so empty.

it was the first year of the battle of metal.
the pictures we’ve seen from the past years, that was from the earthshaker festival, which was at this place the years before. But it seems someone didn’t like each other anymore…eathshaker had to find another place and battle of metal was born.

and so i must say: everybody starts small.

and the organisation knew about the risk with the money, but it seems it’s all kind of still in their calculating…

T? started around 22:25 and played until 23:35 I think… I think for obvious reasons they did not play an encore anymore as they probably meant to do before the show (hence Potato Junkie + Stories on the setlist).

We got totally fooled with those pictures which was on the festival webpage:). I said to Kati when we arrived there on Friday mid day, that probably most of those who are attending the festival are still at their works…But whatta heck, T? played a hell of a gig, goes to Top five of their gigs we´ve seen so far. This was the sixth country where we´ve seen them play so far (Finland, Sweden, Russia, Estonia & UK). I belived that more T? fans would have come, but as Roxy said, the festival was too far away from bigger cities and maby that was one of the reasons that there was not so many going around with T? shirts on:)
The new roudie Steve seems to be a nice fellow, giving us all the setlists and Roxy the stick.
And Robby; you´re the man taking the setlist:)Ten points for that running and jumping in the air:)
