For me it was when I saw Rise Up video on Scuzz, in 2004. I really liked the song and it just seemed pretty different to most of the stuff they were playing. It got stuck in my head and I dunno why it caught my attention so much. Heard it on TV a few more times, downloaded that 1 song then never thought anymore… until I saw Rock You Monkeys on TV. Again really liked this too, so I bought NANE.

Of course!

Hooch, leave my luva alone! He looks great wrapped in that yakskin rug, and you know it. Almost better than when he’s in his skintight lederhosen. But we all know that’s not possible.

I don´t remeber the exact year, but I think it was 1992 and that “Live from London” program came out from Sky Channel or that kinda channel. Recorded that show and I was just thinking “what is this band”, they are very special, couldn´t compaire it to nothing else. Bought the Nurse album, but I wasn´t pleased with the production, good songs but very strange sound on it. Then came year 93 and Short Sharp Shock and it was a GO!!! I remember I was cleaning my home and my kids we´re playing on the floor and I had MTV on and this video came out, I saw the light then, fell in love with the song, the music and the band:)

must have been 1994. i was 13 back then. my brother videotaped the famous brixton academy show from MTV england (yeah at that time we got that in austria via satellite, now we just get crappy MTV germany, but i guess MTV england is crappy by now too …)

well, guess what, i didn’t like it first. i was just so different from anything i heard at that time, i was more into classic rock/metal … my favourite band was (and still is, though i like almost every kind of music now) iron maiden.

but then my brother bought troublegum. i remember that i listened to it more often than he himself. i had to listen to it on his stereo, cause i only had a cassette player back then … ah, the memories …

well, i was hooked then, watched the brixton show again and again …

my first t?-gig was on the suicide pact tour 1999, at the arena in vienna. to this day, still one of the best shows i’ve ever seen. and thanks to alan i have it on video too … ;-)

seen them live 8 times since …

What a kick-ass father.

Must have been 1993 when I used to snuck into the living room late at night to see 120 Minutes/Alternative Nation or Headbangers Ball with my sister. First album I’ve bought from my own money, first concert I’ve been to in 1994 at the age of 12.
Yep, a love that was sure to stay.

Must have been 1994, and a mate of mine who was into rock and metal (I wasn’t) forced me to listen to his personal cassette player on the school bus coz I kept taking the piss out of his musical tastes.

It was Knives and I slowly realised I really liked it.
