A band’s for life, not just while you’re at college

I was a massive T? fan, massive, but I have to admit I had lost interest in the last couple of years.

Semi-Detached, and Suicide Pact were patchy at best, and the live set was becoming too Troublegum heavy. Plus all that karaoke “c’mon up on stage” stuff was beginning to get on my tits; tour after tour. It was a bit of fun at first, but it was just ruining the songs.

I think the last time I went to see them was 2003? I had barely missed a tour since 91, but that was pretty much it for me. My interest had peaked.

I wasn’t going to go see them last week, I had no intention, but I buckled at the last minute. Very glad I did. I enjoyed it, I’ve seem them better, but there were moments when it all clicked again. I can’t say that for the last three or four times I saw them.

Now they’re back as a 3 piece they seem more focussed, the sound is better (if a bit more “metal”). I never thought I’d go see them and not know huge chunks of the set, how times change.

The next day I dug out my old LP’s (ask your parents), and had a jolly good time. I reckon I’ll buy the new album too.

Wake up, time to buy…

pleased to hear of your epiphany. Therapy? have evolved and progressed (and not in an Emerson Lake and Palmer way) over the years and can now deliver a live set that takes the fillings out of your teeth, powders them and makes you snort them. Please do buy One Cure Fits All, it’s great and you’ll love it.

I love this band to bits! After seeing them in glasgow the other night I was totally wired.I hadnt seen a live band in quite a while, and the ones I had seen really arent worth mentioning. These guys were so tight, loud, and played their hearts out. They restored my faith in music and my love of rock’n’roll.
