Politics of us All

#

Started by Zorn

What the Hell is happening? Bush - the dense and wanting president that makes ignorance a word he can’t spell, and Blair a little yapping “feed me” puppy. What gives them pleasure in the morning when they wake up?

Can’t we please get rid of them?

Is it too much to ask for honesty?

I know, let’s kill Iranians because they think differently to us. Sure, their country might appear normal, just like Iraq did, but let’s kill them anyway. Heh, how many dollars can we get from that? Loads!

I’m sure there’s a financial deal we can put together with Suadi Arabia. Make us both lots of money.

The people that are killed? Just statistics of a previous existence. It’s far more important that we make money.

The territories that we irridicate? Well, they wanted to be American anyway; I knew that without asking them.

Our corrupt, uncontrollable, drug-addicted urges MUST be spread around the world.

Because without our wanton and withered land that we call our own, we’d have nothing.

“Penny for your thoughts”

I’d give thousands of pennies for one clear, unselfish, thoughtful political thought.

My money’s safe.

My message? Think intelligently; think politically; don’t allow these assholes to win any more; and don’t give up!

I agree with Zorn, I also agree with Graeme.

But why is it, that when we talk about politics and / or religion a fight / arguement starts? Why is it, that in the UK, where we are supposed to live in peace, people are getting murdered because of their religion and skin colour?

WHY DOES TONY BLAIR AND OTHER POLITICAL LEADERS NOT STOP THIS?!?!
It makes me sick, living in Northern Ireland, I constantly hear of people getting attacked because of their religion, and now, because of their skin colour or ethnic minority.

I, personally, would like to talk about politics and religion in an environment where no-one gets hurt, where we can make peace in the world. I agree, Bush and Blair aren’t helping us make the world a better place, but, in all fairness, Bin laden, Iraq and Iran aren’t helping either.

What about the men, women and children who are starving in Africa? THAT is where we need to be, we need to be helping out 3rd world countries, we need our troops to keep peace in 3rd world countries.

Iraq is not peaceful, our troops are making it worse, they’re trying to make it better, but they’re failing. I personally feel that all those innocent soldiers died for no reason.

I wish someone such as Tony Blair or George Bush would wake up to the real world.
What is more important - World peace or money?
I think the majority of people would say World Peace

This is the end of my rant

Er, Mr Dan? I’m sorry to say this but, you know your cattle? Well I’m afraid they were killed by a suicide bomber. Or was it that George Bush murdered them for a White House BBQ? Either way you have my deepest condolences. Try and get some counselling.

I really struggle with politics, because I really find it hard to find anyone at all who is genuinely representing the things I believe in.

If I was a far-left, extreme communist who believed in the end of organised government, I would understand how my views were a little marginalised, but…

I mean, come on, I believe in what I guess EVERYONE else here believes in, just the normal regular stuff we all want.

So why is no one representing me?!

And just don’t get me started on the (im)moral attrocity that is Guantanamo Bay

Comparatively i think we have it easy. There are countries in the World that are FAR worse for this kind of thing.
I fucking HATE Blair - he is awful - that is a fact but you cannot deny we have a great quality of life. So much so that i believe as humans we are regressing instead of expanding. Just look at the ridiculous political correctness we all adhere to without question and our nanny state full of pathetic whingers. Come on Zorn - what are YOU doing to combat this exactly?! Or are you just as apathetic as everyone else, talking but not doing much about this? :)

And for all you know, Zorn could be the leader of the Lib Dems! ;) I highly doubt that though.

I wish we could start a UK T? political party. We do have a few political members on the boards, ok, it’s a big ambition, but I WISH we could create a party and beat teh shit thats currently in government!

But surely an anarchist can be neither left nor right; isn’t he (or she) an anarchist?

What am I doing to combat what? Blair, the world, quality of life, humans, polictical correctness, the nanny state or pathetic whingers?

Politics is, fundamentally, discussion. “I fucking hate Blair” frankly isn’t. It isn’t useful in a political discussion and it’s crass. It shoots down an argument in the blink of an eye.

“We have great quality of life” - well, isn’t that just hunky-dory. Do you consider those that don’t?

“As humans we are regressing instead of expanding” - hmmm, we are certainly expanding, but I suppose what you meant was “we are regressing rather than progressing”?

And to close, no there aren’t “countries in the world that are far worse for this kind of thing” - the U.S. certainly has the biggest worldwide influence, and is amiably supported by the U.K.
