Andy’s Guest Review In “Classic Rock” Magazine

Keep an eye out for Andy’s guest review of the reissue of Motorhead’s Orgasmatron album, in this month’s Classic Rock magazine (it’s the one with Jimi Hendrix on the cover - dunno if it has hit the shelves yet, I am a subscriber, so I sometimes get it early).

Very well-written, and good to see Therapy? getting invited to do something like this.

Thats quite funny, even lemmy thinks the production is gash. The songs however are so strong you forget that. Dr Rock is probably my favourite song by them… top top album. Bastards is still my fav by them..it’s flawless.

Bill Laswell failed with his production on Orgasmatron but all the songs are aces! Deaf Forever is there, yes! Bastards: a classic one too!
All MH records are great or good! The weakest one in my opinion is Hammered from 2002 and it´s not shite either!

I got into Motorhead off the back of Inferno 2 years or so ago, so I do prefer the later line up. Bastards is of course a fave but then so are most of the latter albums!

1916 is probably the strongest MH album I have heard though, first three tracks are just sheer bliss!

Yup, I bought classic rock today (good magazine, haven’t listened to the cd that came with it yet but looks way better than most magazine cd’s).

Anyway I’m big into blues and old rock and metal, and to my suprise I saw that Andy Cain’s has done a guest review for a reissued motorhead album, half page review also :D.

Anyway’s y’all should check it out ‘cause its a suprisingly decent magazine on the whole.
