It’s not one of their better acoustic efforts, I would have to agree.

if you have a look at the diane single and bad mother in the discography section you can see the recorded ones they have done. BUt they have been doing some good versions at the instore, rain hits concrete and our white noise have been good. When i saw them at the barfly they started with Knives and rise up acoustic and that was great. I think this loose was a rare occation when it wasn’t so good.

Of the b-sides, I think Misery, Jude The Obscene and Disgracelands stand out.

I like the snare rolling. It’s one of his quirks, and good build up too.

I saw em do an acoustic set and ‘Nobody Here But Us’ was heart stoppingly good for me! ;)

It’s been a while since i listened to any of the acoustic versions but yeah Loose is the weakest from those B-sides they did during the Infernal Love era and the guy whistling doesn’t help either.
