Yeah, Tommy, Ritchie, CJ, Elvis and Marky should reform. Four drummers and one bassist, now THATS a band.

it was a shame to replace Dee Dee… so CJ may be scratched from the list for me :p

Dee Dee was the man, but i thought CJ did a good job… if Dee Dee hadn’t of gone off to do a really bad rap career it wouldn’t have been an issue:D

I don’t remember a drummer called Elvis, which album was he on?

I think Elvis only played live, not sure though

They had some great tunes after Dee Dee left, but most of those were written by Dee Dee, how sick is that?
ok, I admit, it just hurts me to see CJ, where Dee Dee belongs… I think Dee Dee leaving should have been the end of The Ramones… but then again, who wants Joey and Johnny to quit!?

Talking of the Ramones: there will be a book of them in near future which my buddy JP Laitio Ramone has written. There´s included a interview with Andy there where he´s telling about his Ramones memories and things like that.
There´s going to be some Therapy? pictures there too which I´ve and Kati has taken over this years.
JP has written already two Ramones fan books. Check them out! Should be purchcased through he´s Ramones website :

SHIT! That link is not working! Do a google with Jp Laitio and you´ll find it!

The link you posted doesn’t work for me.
If you have more info on the title of the book or the releasedate, that’s always welcome :)

What JP told me early this summer, he did a telephone interview with Andy and there should be a one and half page interview(+ the pictures)there in the upcoming book.
Those two earlier books are available for order through his site I noticed but I didn´t see any news about the third one, maby I´m blind…but it will be out sooner or later, that´s a fact!

Lets hope so. Continuing with the original idea of the thread - whats all that about Ramones?! Lets hope the future of T? is secure - though I am wondering why they are not doing the full UK tour? Andy said in an old post about how if they could not afford to do the full tour it would mean we saw far less of them. Lets hope this is not the case…

ps Ramones fans… Motorhead have a cover version on their new album you might be interested in..! And I think its safe to bet it will be closer to the original than The Beautiful South’s terrible Blitzkrieg Bop!

Just got message from JP Laitio Ramone, who´s is behind this forthcoming Ramones book pt3 (and pt1 & pt2) that the book will probably be out next fall. There came problems with the translating and the layout. But have patient, it will see the sunlight, and we can wait as Andy´s in there too with his stories ´bout Ramones.
