If you’re from the EU, I don’t think you need a work permit to get into Ireland (but I’m not sure).

At the moment in Ireland, there’s a big job ‘boom’ and as a result there’s about 1/2 million foreign nationals working here (quite a lot for a country with a total population of 4.2m). So, a job should be pretty easy to get. It probably won’t be what you’re qualified to do, but usually after about a year here, you could look at getting a job more like what you want to do.

There’s loads of immigrants over here - taking our jobs and women! :mad: ;)

I made friends with a lot of Bulgarians who were over working here last year. Really decent people who knew how to have good craic too. There’s a lot of Poles over here now as well.

I’d say you’d have no trouble - why not enquire at your local Citizen Advice Bureau?
