Something that just baffled me…

… I am so bored I’m looking through the photos on the site, then I relised this:

The bass drums have the manufacturer taped up!

Anyone know why?

Maybe they were playing at a festival where it was going to be televised somewhere and no adverticing was allowed…so the drums plus probably the amps had tape over the makes so they were on display. I had to do it for a few bands when they played in Europe…or usa.

More than Likley…there is no real need to otherwise, unless its a festival thats sponsers are very strict on what can be on show.

Most festivals are being filmed for tv channels around here, but none of them are ever aired, or if you’re very lucky they show 5 minutes… and they are not willing to share their recordings :mad:

I think Tool doesn’t allow any tv station to play pieces of their live sets… I remember they played at Werchter a few years ago, and they said that in the report.
but festival reports mostly are very poor… they forget the best bands, or they cut their songs in pieces :rolleyes:

we basically only got mainstage stuff that they’ve been sucking off all year and nothing from any of the other stages. not even ginger who headlined the myspace stage or backyard babies, and i know there is footage of ginger and the sonic circus because i saw the snickers ad with him in :D . and as for download in Ireland… for all the coverage that got, it might as well have not existed…

but still, we did get a whole song and interview with alice in chains…

To be honest all I remember was the Zildjian endorsement and the change over to Sabian after Zildjian let him down when T? were in Europe.
