Little help…

#

Started by White Psycho

I’ve just bought some trousers and they need taking up a bit. My sewing skills are pitiful and no I can’t get me mum to do it. I remember her vaguely once using some kind of fabric glue or something, can anyone help me with this?

That’s a really good guide, and explains it much better than I could. But as well lots of places will take them up for you professionally for next to nothing.

I think I know what you may be talking about.

It was a bottle with a red top, and a brush attached to the lid? Like tip ex?

It might not be, but I can’t remember the name of it anyway.

I daren’t follow links at work so I don’t know if you found out - but the stuff you are after is called Copydex :)

You will get it at fabric shops and most DIY shops. You can also get it in tape form, you just fold the fabric over it and iron it and it sticks and you can still wash your clothes :)
