Colin? wouldn’t it be better if you could write the words and them sing the melody to the fella on guitar to work out… see with me when i write music i hear in my head how the drums, bass, guitars and vocals go so it’s easier to put together quickly..and to see if it will work or not? i know your only starting, i don’t think i wrote a song that i thought was any good till i was 18.. but it gets easier

Well, once I get a drum kit I’m gonna be drummer apparently. There’s a dude that lives beside me who has agreed to teach me drums, he’s been playing for 23 years.
Also, all of us will be doing a bit of vocals.

drums ain’t cheap so you should find out if you like it before buying some…or you will just get bored and quit… i went through a recorder (got chuck out of class for miming) keyboard. (bored me silly..although i now want to learn properly) and cello/volin (got told to stop as i used to try and do tapping solos on them and play like a guitar).. before i picked up the guitar and have never got bored of it.:) so be sure it’s what you want… I learnt drums out of bordem good laugh they are too.
