Looks fucking great to me!

I admit, I haven’t seen a lot of T? over the years, maybe seen them live at two of their own gigs and two Bulldog Bashes, so maybe I haven’t gotten as bored of hearing the “classics” as other WoMs who see them two or three times a tour, but still, I think there’s enough in there to please fair-weather and hardcore fans alike.

There’s a few songs I would gladly see dropped from the set but overall it is pretty well balanced…no?

No, I can’t agree that it’s pretty well balanced.
Only 4 tracks of their latest album, while still 6 tracks of Troublegum (I only based myself on this setlist, it changed a little bit during the last tour, but those tracks stayed the same, they sometimes even dropped one more track of the new album)
There is NOTHING of Shameless, Suicide Pact-You First or Semi-Detached in the setlist (not on any of the setlists this year), which is a pity. From all other albums there’s only one or two songs on the setlist… and mostly the same songs as the night before…
I do understand that Troublegum was their biggest record, but most people who come to their shows know at least that album completely, so it would be nice if they would put a bit more variation in the songs of Troublegum instead of playing the same old hits over and over again. Which I still like, but after 40 gigs, it would be nice to hear some other things from time to time.
I must admit that on most tours they pick up another song they haven’t played for a while, which is a nice thing. Every hardcore fan of no matter which band wants to hear at least some other songs than the stuff that always gets played, most bands stick to the same setlist forever (apart from a few minor changes). For a band it’s probably much more fun to play those songs which get most the response of the crowd… It would be nice though if they would experiment some previously recorded, hardly (or never) played live songs on the crowd…
But the most important thing to me, is the way they bring the songs, as long as they play with the same enthousiasm as they always did, they can count on me. The mood of the band is what makes the gig turn into a succes or a dissapointment, at least that’s what counts for me…

Partly agree with souldoubt on this one.
Now I really enjoy all the gigs as much as most people do and sure the guys can pick whatever songs they like playing most , but a bit of variation would be nice every now and then. A bit of artistic ambition from the band if you would like to call it that , when they put a tune in that hasn’t been played in ages.

At the other side it’s understandable they go for the proven recipe. Loads of times I’ve been to gigs with friends who are fans but not as mad as most people on here , and they love the setlist and all the songs they recognise and can sing along from Troublegum.

Personally I don’t really mind too much as I’ll enjoy myself no matter what. If only they would throw in If It Kills Me a bit more often :(
