Is it just me or in Teethgrinder before they sing ‘Teethgrinder’ in the chorus the sample says something which i cant make out? Its listed as ‘Im a’ - Teethgrinder but it doesnt sound like that, this has annoyed me for years. Does anyone else hear this or is it just me? Eh?

That sounds right to me. Sometimes T? don’t have the samples in this when they do it live and sometimes they do…anyone know why? :)

Anyway, the sample does indeed say ‘I’m a Teethgrinder…In my sleep I grind my teeth’ but the sample rate has been altered (I think) to make it sound a bit weird, which is probably where the confusion comes from.

EDIT:

Sorry, not ‘sample rate’… it’s been re-sampled.

It annoyes me, too, but what can we do??? It´s youst spoken muddy.

He used a Drumkat or something. Watch the video from the Brixton Academy gig - you can see him triggering the vocal sample and the dentist’s drill, too.
