I was expecting this would happen.
Really great that they play a nice club, so I don’t have to go to pinkpop ;-)

Yep, I can’t wait myself to see Tool, I saw A Perfect Cicle last year in Amsterdam and Maynard s voice is just briliant,I think it will be sold out in a few minutes so go to the post office in time, cause they don’t play venues like 013 that often!

I sadly have no DVD (yet). But I’m gonna buy it someday.
I have listened the live CD, though.
Anyway Lateralus (new album) will be out 14th May Worldwide.
I think that’s a monday, but it wouldn’t be the first time if you’ll find it in the shops on Saterdays.

Yeah, I woke up quite early at 8:30 to rush to the postoffice. Found out there they starting selling at 10:00. At about 10:03 I got them tickets. Pfff…just in time.
I was expecting this would happen, but I feel lucky now for once in my life ;-).
Anyway Lateralus also has a ‘special’ package design. Has 13 tracks.
I heard a few songs. ‘Schism’ is the new single and a video has been made. Co-directed by Mr. Adam Jones himself and this will be very special again (Stop motion etc…)…

This shows release dates aren’t always on time. But hey! It sound fuckin’ great!
Just listening to the first seconds of ‘The Grudge’ shows TOOL is way better than a Perfect Circle by far…wooww!!!

All of them, all at once, a cacophony.

I started on Undertow after seeing the videos for Sober and Prison Sex, which still remain the best videos I’ve ever seen. I prefer that album to Aenima (spelling?).
Will go out for Lateralus today, god only knows why I didn’t yesterday.

It’s one of the best fuckin’ records I heard during the 90s and beyond! It’s a whole new definition for metal, although it’s just bass/guitar etc…
TOOL is something I couldn’t do without.

Here’s my fav. tool songs:
Eulogy, Aenema, Sober, Stinkfist, Third-eye, Jerk-Off…

I think Parabol/Parabola is my favourite as well.
But also The Grudge and Reflection…so far

my faves from undertow are Sober and Intolerance, from Aenima Stinkfist. third eye is overall also a good song, but the problem I have with this and some other songs is that because of the length of the songs I like some parts very much, and some parts I just find boring. Ticks and Leeches from the new album is a good example, I like the song very much, but the middle part is a bit too long in my opinon. Well it’s one of their trademarks I guess.

Ah, yes…the Pink Floyd-Syndrom.
But on the other hand some songs of 3 minutes are only interesting by finding out the riff-verse-chorus-break. I like long structured song mainly because its more of an adventure. To find songs within’ songs and build op atmosphere. I think that’s most important thing of long songs. The athmosphere…
