Drummers

#

Started by Charlie

Okay :D

Everyone Post here which drummers they love or hate and we can use this thread( and this thread alone ) to bitch about whos shit and whos not ! ( But really is ! )

I’ll open proceedings.

Love :

1.Thomas Lang
2.Steve White
3.Tre Cool
4.Brann Dailor
5.Vinnie Paul
6.Danny Carey

More when I think of them.

Dislike :

1.Nicko Mcbrain - have yet to hear him play anything decent (IMO )

2.Lars Ulrich - Lost it around 1999. Now he’s terrible.

3.Meg White - obviously

4.Any Drummer in a ” The ” band with their Ride and Crash set up - GET ANOTHER CYMBAL AND STOP BEING SO FUCKING TRENDY - OH AND LEARN HOW TO DO FILLS. YOU KNOW - WHERE YOU ROLL AROUND THE TOMS INSTEAD OF JUST PLAYING 8TH NOTES ON THE SNARE AND HI HAT.

5.And Relax :)

Lombardo, Neil, Fyfe, Jo Reynders (Cabron, Triptych, Heibel), Dale Crover, Tim Latona, Larry Herweg, Tim Alexander, Nicholas Barker…

Hate

Joey Jordison, wannabe’s, and most important: circus drummers. You know, the ones who think they look cool just because they can juggle 15 pairs of drumsticks around standing on 1 leg on top of their drumstool while playing… Being the attention whores that they are… :D

:D Oh aye, Jordison. He’s ok when hes grooving along to the song but his solos are fucking horible.

I’d also like to add Graham Hopkins, Brain and Tim Alexander to the list of drummers I like. :)

Mikkey invited us to a night at a strip bar after a gig so we legged it down there, met the band, smoked Lemmy’s fags, watched naked girls dance, almost had a fight with the singer of IN Flames who tried it on with my g/f!
I can think of worse ways to spend a Monday night in November! ;)
