Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available

#

Started by Teethgrinder (René Fennema) Administrator

Folks, in August of last year Therapy? invited their fans to vote for the 3 songs they would most like to see recorded live during a private performance in a small studio. No audience, just the band doing what they do best. The 12 songs which received the most votes were recorded on September 19th, 2006 and are now available to you as a paid download, both as audio (MP3) and video (WMV).

To learn more and download the show visit the webgig page.

Please use this thread to post your reviews, comments, etc. If you have any questions or experience any problems buying or downloading the webgig, please contact me at webgig@therapyquestionmark.co.uk

Yep, just bought the whole deal.

Now, who will be kind enough to send me the burned copies (dvd & cd)? I can trade, and will provide proof of purchase, of course!

yauckt.be, during the PayPal checkout process you can enter an optional “Message to Seller”. If you clearly state there which name should be on the cover, and where it should be sent, I’ll make sure it gets done.

Bought the full thing as well.
It’s cool that they are pure mp3 with no lame copy protection preventing them from being played in some devices.

It’s less cool that the vidoes are .wmv wich doesnt always run very well on mac :(

So it was recorded in “The Hive” in Derby. Can Sarah or Rene provide us with the actual date in September?

yauckt.be, I’ve added a note about buying it for a friend to the webgig page as well, in the yellow box beneath the link. Thanks for the feedback.

Does anyone else think its a crying shame there is no recent material on the gig? I know it’s collectively our fault for not voting for these songs, but surely the likes of Sprung, Polar Bear and Long Distance would offer a better all round view of the greatness of Therapy?. Dropping Die Laughing and Knives would be good too. Guess we’ve had this discussion before, but I still think it’s a shame.

Having said that, I’m downloading the lot now and can’t wait to see it!

See it pays off to be a follower of this band :)

Well done and worth every penny and more!

Thank you boys

Interesting how the band themselves can twiddle the knobs and produce a better sound than a professional such as Pedro. Drums sound crisp and loud! Squall…?

I’ve complained about that.. but it isn’t going to stop me buying the whole thing when i have the money:)

Although it does seem to be something that will be stopping quite a few people i know including my brother from buying it (he is a big big fan.. i will keep working on him)..he is the only one who owns a mac, but the others say they might just get the audio. If it’s just the format that’s their problem then it seems a big shame:(

That would be a shame indeed, Divers. There’s nothing I can do about it right now, and I don’t know if we’ll be able to do anything for this webgig. I’ll definitely keep this in mind for any possible future webgigs, though.
