You seem pretty clued up about all of this - not after the Antipapacy yourself, are you?

@Bad Karma,:) you’re surely cheating, though, if it’s from Phoenix Nights, how can it be reading material? Or do you have the script books?

No i don’t have the scripts it was from that issue of Zoo. It’s a pretty rubbish magazine apart from a few pics of Kirsty Gallagher and Peter Kay’s top 30 funniest jokes from his stand up,Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy.

A Pope undate for you all hes still alive this morning.

I just hope the poor old guy has a painless one. Anyone ever read what Nostradamus says about Pope JP II? he calls him weak, a coward and not as good as the guy before him (whose death is shrouded in controversy)

Strangely im sitting in my college library which is called John Paul II library and there is loads of statues of him around… he was once here 26 years ago, he opened the place

I think more people are concerned with Ken and Deirdre’s wedding in Corination Street than those two.

No not an insult just looking on the brightside, every cloud has a silver lining etc.I’m just not a big fan of organised religion i remember when i was young and was made to go to church and sunday school how very boring and empty an experience it was.

I’m sort of glad he has Finaly passed away, as he can finaly enjoy his retirment. Thats the worst thing about being Pope is you can’t just say I’m seventy I want to play golf, use my coupons on the bus and the bingo hall and enjoy myself. Instead he is brought out in front of thousands of people every day no matter if he is Ill or not. R.I.P

Actually, I just remembered that I changed the bet to make it until June… we’re even now, because I won when my friend thought that Ian Paisley would die. Ah, well. Wonder what the Pope’s up to now?

I would like to see him go to next next world only to discover that, in fact, the ancient Egyptians had got it right and there was a big animal head-thing wanting to weigh his heart. Ah, the look on his face.

If its any help, I went to a Catholic school myself and it felt like I was being told what to believe. As a result, I don’t have much respect for the church. Sorry to see John Paul II go though.

Agreed there Ronald , respect for his efforts for world peace and all ( not that many of them helped alot ) , but his ultra-conservative ideas about child abuse and aids prevention haven’t done the world any good.
