Amnesiac is a really good album. I don’t know whether it has been released but i guess that most of you have heard some songs or even the whole album, it has been on the internet for ages. It is still very experimental and i never liked Radiohead very much, but after hearing songs like I Might Be Wrong, Pyramid Song and Knives Out, i changed my mind for good. So go get Amnesiac, you wont regret it.

Yeah, I got Exciter too…I still have to get through it.
But it sounds good.

Showbiz? thats been out for weeks in the uk

No, Showbiz has been out there for YEARS White Psycho, we’re talking about ‘Origin Of Symmetry’, pretty good album.
And yes, My Vitriol does sound great, I listened to some more songs.
Oh, how about Placebo? They’re (latest?) single Special K blew me away, and their album ‘Black Market Music’ isn’t bad either.

Ahhh, Placebo. Placebo are a typical rock band of the late nineties. They released an amazing debut album, their second album was average (if you compare it to the first), and Black Market Music is awful. Another example is Muse. Everybody was amazed with their first album and then the second came out. Not that it is bad, but it sounds exactly like the first one, this is so fucking safe. Same goes to JJ72, and every other ‘rock’ band that suddenly becomes the new bright hope of rock ‘n’ roll. I remember that with the older rock groups (Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Nirvana and even Therapy?) happened the exact opposite. They would release a usually rough first album and they would get better as time got by. Just think of Bleach or Babyteeth. Unfortunately these good days are gone forever.

you’re right with the lyrics of ‘smells like rock’n’roll’! the new single ‘leaving you with this’ is better but still by far not the best song on the cd. check out ‘monogamy’ and ‘wheels of steel’; maybe you’ll like them better!
weel, maybe it’s just a matter of sympathy as i know the band-members for 6 years now and know how their style has changed over the years.
i’m really impressed how they’ve worked out!
however, as you said, it’s a matter of taste…

nein, das kann man so nicht sagen. die würden mich auf der straße nicht erkennen. ich finde sie nur sehr, sehr gut und würde es ihnen vergönnen, wenn sie mit ihrer musik erfolg hätten. wie gesagt: ich weiß, wie sie angefangen haben und wie hart sie arbeiten mussten, um dahin zu kommen, wo sie jetzt stehen.
