Why don’t they F*** Off! That is one of the most horrible tunes I have ever heard. I liked their first album and some of their other stuff has been OK but that is music by numbers and it sucks! They have turned into a parody of themselves which is really sad. I can still hear that drivel ringing in my ears! Fecking woeful!
The sadest thing is that it will still sell millions

The whole thing sounds like the last minute of a song. It never peaks anywhere. Best thing I can say about it is that it sounds like Oasis

Lyla is a very lazy and weak song especially for a comeback single.I think Noel should just give up writing songs and start a career in comedy or present a chatshow because he’s always entertaining in interviews.

i had a pretty good idea of what it would sound like, and i was correct. it sounds like your average modern oasis tune. what a surprise.
i haven’t bought any oasis material since the days of “be here now”. and yes, regardless of what many people say, i still think that “be here now” is fucking ace even though everyone else, even at the time, seems or seemed to despise it.

Be Here Now is no longer regarded as the worst Oasis album,Standing On The Shoulder of Giants is now the worst Oasis album well until the new one is released.
The last Oasis album Heathen Chemistry had some good songs on it but a lot of filler as well.

Heard it and they are still shit. they should stop Liam writing songs, it’s like when John Lennon said “ok Yoko I’ll put a couple of yours on my album”

Noel says the new Oasis album is their best since Definately Maybe but he always says that every time they release a new album then he normally slags it off a year later.

LIAM WHY ARE YOU STILL PUTTING ON THAT STOOOOOPID FUCKING VOICE?!?!?!?!?
In comparison, his voice on Definitely Maybe was pretty natural sounding, but ever since the second album, it has sounded so false…
What a knob.

“Knowing Mani, it’s him who’ll be doing the taking out… to the pub! Them being so angry all the time gets on me tits, but what a #### band! Oasis couldn’t go from ‘Kick Out The Jams’ to ‘Come Together’ to ‘Vanishing Point’- we’re not electronically aware at all. At least they’re not cynical #### like Manic Street Preachers. Did you see that bit on the telly when they met Castro? Here they were face-to-face with one of the most influential leaders of the 20th Century, and all Nicky Wire could think to say was, “Noel Gallagher shook hands with Tony Blair and we’re meeting Fidel.” I was thinking, “in your crowning moment of glory, you student, you still mentioned my name. Thank you very much!” They’re living out the university fantasy of Fidel Castro blah blah blah, which doesn’t appeal to me one little bit. The next time I see Nicky, I’m going to say, “Why don’t you put your nurse’s uniform on and go back to college?”
I saw this on another forum and it think it’s further proof Noel should take up a career in comedy rather than being in Oasis.

Still a fucks sight better than Kings of Leon, The Libertines ( who are the worst band of all time ), The Kaiser cheifs ( who are shit ), Franz Ferdinand ( who ARE boring ) etc etc etc…There are no decent british bands around now…Feeder are dull as fuck now..every song sounds identical…
Lets see what franz F, kaiser ciefs et al sound like when they are on their 6th albums…Hopefully Pete Doherty will be dead by then and we wont have to be subjected to his talent free shit anymore
