Anyway mine was Screamager from radio and I’m glad that DJ said the bands name as I bought “Nurse” the next day (Shrtsharpshock E.P. wasn’t released yet).

I’m sure its come up before. Mine was Lonely, Cryin’ Only on MTV2 and I didn’t like it. I’d actually heard of T? before seeing them. My dad knows Mike’s dad. Anyway, I later saw Teethgrinder live from (I assume) Ozzfest (soem bif outdoor festival, anyway) and I loved it! Then a freind lent me Suicide Pact and it just went from there.

First time I listened to a Therapy? song was after buying the Judgment-Night-Soundtrack. Hell yeah, I really LOVED “Come and die”!
Afterwards I bought the Shortsharpshock EP, then the Die-Laughing-Single…

They were playing Screamager at the mall over the CC-TV station which was doing a loop of new releases. As soon as I heard that opening RIff I was like “What the Hell is that?” and went and picked up Hats Off to the Insane which was just released.
It was funny I heard the song that week about three times (once on the radio, the video and the time at the mall) and then never again.
A&M did such a shit job of promotion. I never knew that Troublegum or Infernal Love were released until I either stumbled across them at the store, and in the case of Infernal Love there was a review in my Guitar Magazine, a great review by the way. I tried to see I still had it lying around and post it, but it’s lost.

Whatever was he first song at that Brixton gig MTV used to play. The whole show took me aback. Then my mate gave me Die Laughing single for Christmas (cheers Rory), after that I was hooked. Took me a few months to get near a decent record shop (seriously - and no internet in them days) and bought Troublegum and my mum bought me Nurse (cheers mum!)on tape, couple of months later found Babyteeth and Pleasure death. Ahh those early days of wonder and discovery…

i have never got the chance to watch them live on TV or somewhere else but i met Therapy? when i downloaded ‘vicar in a tutu’, smiths cover, of Therapy?. i like Andy’s voice. it was totally full of melancholy, sadness and it was a soft voice that makes me to listen it all day at that time (1998). Then i downloaded ‘Opal Mantra’ and ‘Nowhere’ which make me a Therapy? addict. but i never watched them before until they put their videos on this official site.

I knew T? back in 1992 via a friend in scool who had Pleasure Death en Nurse. I remember Teethgrinder, Neck freak and Potatojunkie as the best songs at that time.
I really became a T? addict when Screameager came out (1993).
Even everytime they play it now the hair on my body gets up (kiekevlees in’t vlaams) standing.
When Troublegum came out I already had searched (and bought) the first three albums, but that album was fatal for me. Still think it’s the best Rock-album ever!

But now I stil haven’t listened for T? new album “Never expl..”
Because my wife want to present me an original album, not “stolen”..
But it is too difficult to buy it even in Moscow..

The first time I saw/heard Therapy? was on MTV (would like to watch thàt show again). Don’t exactly know which year it was; guess it was 1994 when Troublegum was released. I was zappin’ around and got stuck on MTV. I was stunned bij the drive of their music and couldn’t stop thinking about it, afterwards. Only had that feeling once before when Discharge released their EP WHY? And once afterwards.
So, bought Troublegum and I’m hooked for life, is guess.
Funny: discovered the existence of Caucasian Psychosis in 2002…

The first version of the Stories video is the most common one; colour video with the band dressed in velvet jackets and red shirts playing the song in a dark basement.
They later recorded a second version in black & white with Fyfe & Michael in Reservoir Dogs style clothing interrogating and roughing-up Andy in a warehouse.

Nope, it’s not on any singles. In fact, I’ve never even seen the full second video (interrogation), only clips of it which were shown during an Irish TV interview years ago.

Anyway, once I heard them and bought the ShortSharpShock EP and the Nurse album…and I’ve never looked back.
