From nme.co.uk:

Tsunami fundraiser in Belfast

STARSAILOR frontman James Walsh has been added to the bill of a fundraising show in Belfast for the victims of the Asian tsunami.

Walsh will play an acoustic set at the Limelight club on January 23. He joins a line-up that includes local rock veterans Therapy plus some 40 other local bands including the likes of Driving By Night, Fighting With Wire and Slim Memphis.

The all-day gig will run from 12noon until midnight and will be spread across the venue’s three rooms – The Limelight, Katy Dalys and Spring And Airbrake. Tickets will cost £10.

Jeesus guys, you’re spoiling us!! :D

It’s only Andy & Michael I believe, performing an acoustic set. It’s loadsabands, for a tenner, in a good cause and you can’t be bad to that.

I will be there, beer in hand to watch the lads. 12 noon to 12 midnight - that’s a lot of drinking and live music! ;)

The gig was great, and the screw-ups just made it even better. Plus, you could tell they were really enjoying themselves- top night!

Dammit I had Baby(teeth)sitting duties due to the missus working over the weekend. :( I would’ve put money on Moment of Clarity being played in an acoustic set; I also thought they’d do Bowels of Love.

Was there a big crowd Idle?

Yeah, well if you’ve ever been to the limelight- it was packed. Thing is, they opened up all 3 venues so their max. capacity was increased- but the crowd from all 3 venues came into the limelight to see T? I was right at the front, though, so it was OK.

Idle, I do indeed know the Limelight & Katy Daly’s, very well in fact. I’ve seen T? play there quite a few times; haven’t been to S&A yet though. Did they do a DJ set; how did it go?
