And now that I know that a longer version of I am the money exists…I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! how can I do????
I’m cryin’…

It’s on the single(s) of I Am The Money. There are four different versions of the single, only two have the full length version of IATM. They released two UK-singles, and two ‘Europe-singles’. UK #1 (no. ARKCDS2A07) has the version, and the Europe single (no. 015 305-2)has it. Not sure if I got the catalogue numbers right though.

Tracklist of UK #1 is:

1. I am the money (album version)
2. Gimme therapy
3. Gimme gimme shock treatment
4. I am the money (full length version)

Tracklist of Europe single:

1. I am the money (album version)
2. Tango Romeo (original demo)
3. I am the money (full length version)

I’m sure you can find it on Ebay or gemm.com. If you want, I can try and send it to you via email, just let me know.

I personally dont think therapy have weak albums. You ever think of the stuff they bring out they are always ahead of the genre. Shameless is a classic rock album which was brought out before garage rock got all trendy, and i saw them on the shameless tour at the hackney ocean and that was just one of the best gigs ive been to,period.
Anyway my point is respect the boys for always playing what they want, and not whats expected of them, no matter what album it is. If they had just brought out a second suicide pact instead of shameless that would be pants. There wouldnt be unique therapy albums which stand out from one another if they stayed in musical ruts so to speak.

Title: Shameless (merged)

Would be interesting to learn the oppinion of other T? fans regarding this album.

I remember that when i hear it for the first time i though that thats the end of the T? because it sounded very poor.
Thanks God the next album was absolutely amaizing High Anxiety, which proved that T? still has loads of heavyfuckingmetal

Since 2000 my opinion about the album has not changed, i still think that this is their worst ever record.
By the way, if i’m not misstaken during live perfomances in NANE tour the have playd the songs from every album, except Shamless.

Maybe they shouldn’t have released it at all?

Oh no not this old bag of weasels again.

I think we had a poll a while back about it confirming that most thought it was rubbish.

I personally like a quite a bit of it, (even Body Bag Girl) so there!

‘Body Bag Girl’ is the still worst Therapy? song in my opinion, but the rest of the album is pretty good I think.

I like the varied nature of the songs and it’s nice to stick the album on every few weeks or so. My favourite song would be ‘Tango Romeo/Stalk & Slash’ (I always consider these to be almost like one song) and ‘Dance’

As for live songs, they played ‘I Am The Money’ on the NANE tour, and they play ‘Gimme Back My Brain’ on the current tour.

For me, the end was near when I heard Semi-detached, there are 4 songs on that album that I like: Church of noise, black eye - purple sky, stay happy and lonely cryin only. That album has a big layer of dust on it and it doesn’t seem to “grow on me”.

I don’t think Shameless is that bad, I still don’t understand the rabbit factor, but I do listen to that album on a regular basis.

It’s not my favourite album but You can’t always expect roses, can you? ;)

I personally love the album. Dance, Endless Psychology and Tango Romeo are the three Songs on it that I don’t like much, the rest sounds just fine to me.
Wicked Man, Joey and Stalk & Slash are three of my all time Therapy? favourites.
I even think (Get your tomatoes ready!) that after the suicide pact album with its wicked, bassy, creative songs, T? kind of kept the course with Shameless until they came up with a completely different sound on HA and NANE.

The songs on Nurse or Semi Detached just aren’t as good as on Shameless (imho).

Not the best album, but it contains some very good songs: Dance, This one’s for you, I am the money, Wicked man, Theme from Delorean, Joey, Endless psychology. Overall a good album.

@ Flo: What about Heaven’s gate and Safe?

You are so right mother666, next someone starts to whine that T? should get Fyfe back to drums…

Personally, I really like Shameless, like I do on EVERY T? record. First 5 tracks are so damn good and I even like Body Bag Girl as it’s totally unexpected from T?, I guess that it was meant to be a joke as it’s obviously Gary Glitter ripoff… :p

Nowadays I think that Troublegum is their worst album ever… :D

I think the problem people have with it is that there is no angst, anger, misery or general all round insanity on Shameless. Just a straight up, punked up rock n’ roll style party album.

Yeah there’s a couple of duffers on the album alright, but let’s face - there is on most Therapy? albums.

A very underrated effort that didn’t deserve the backlash it received.

There is actually not one Therapy?-record I don’t like, Shameless is not my favorite at the moment, but definatly not my least favorite either!
Most songs on the album are very nice.
I always even liked Body Bag Girl, and the more I listen to it, the more I like it!!
The only track I don’t like on the album is Stalk and Slash (I said it once and I’ll say it again) musically it’s great but the lyrics and the vocals ruined the whole song for me.
But Shameless IS a very nice album in my opinion!

its very poor. Shame really, cos the gimme back my brain single was fantastic, particularly the ‘gimme nyquil’ cover.
On the plus side they DID persevere and gave us the absofuckinglutely brilliant ‘Never Apologise..’ so i can forgive them.

I think THERAPY? play their music without any compromise. Then, I mean each album they recorded stems from new musical developments. Obviously, Troublegum is the one that cannot be ignored, but if you listen to the others ones very better, you’ll discover that these albums are very full of sounds and some melodies, very rich of that.
We can tell that this is the polymorphism of their peculiarity.
