I bought my 4day ticket more than a month ago. I’m sooo happy they’re playing Werchter. They deserve to play more than 1 hour, but we can’t get it all I suppose.
Apart from Therapy? The Cure also played 5 times Werchter (1981, 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2004) :)

ah but you’ve already seen mars volta and the chances of seeing them again are higher than seeing NIN again; So I’d go for NIN. I’ll save you a spot :)

well, don’t really know.. problem is i’m a big fan of both bands. saw nine inch nails once a couple of years ago at rock werchter, and saw the mars volta twice already. but the mars volta live-wise are really really spectacular, sooooo… any other arguments? :p
btw, what makes you think the chances of seeing the mars volta again are higher than seeing nin again? to me it looks like nin will be touring for the rest of 2005 and 2006, so there might be a good chance to see them live again too, not?

good point about nin, didn’t think about it that way. MArs volta is in the marquee —> better atmosphere (normally). So go for volta. I’ll tell you all about NIN afterwards :)

If you go and see NIN you’ll lose your good spot for Interpol and I wouldn’t want to lose that so I’ll stay for The Mars Volta since NIN won’t be playing The Perfect Drug, Hurt, Closer nor We’re In This Together with my luck so if I want to avoid dissapointments I’ll stay and watch The Mars Volta.

by the way, you know what hurts even more than tmv and nin playing at the same time? therapy? and …and you will know us by the trail of dead playing at exactly the same time! B-O-O-O-O-O-O-O and A-A-R-R-G-G-H-H and :( and !

Can someone tell me how long it would take to get from Brussels to Rock Werchter? and what would be the best way to go about it? I’m considering flying over from Ireland for it, Pardon my ignorance I’ve only been to Belgium once last summer and can’t remember much apart from the fact beer was cheap ;)

are you coming over via ryanair (then brussels is in fact charleroi) or via another company (then brussels is in fact zaventem)? i’m telling you because that’s quite a significant difference. zaventem is way closer to brussels than charleroi is.
best way to get to rock werchter from wherever you land is to get to the nearest station and take the train to leuven (train from brussels-airport to leuven takes about an hour). from leuven, there are busses regularly to the festival-site; see you then and there!
for the routemap; check http://www.mappy.be
for trains; check http://www.nmbs.be
