How long have you been a Therapy? fan?

Thank you!

I am a fan since Troublegum. I still remember the day I saw Going Nowhere in MTV for the first time. It’s a no return trip!

The bad news is that Therapy? is almost unknown here. :(

High Anxiety rules! As a matter of fact, it reminded me a lot Troublegum.

I don’t want to hear NANE till I get the record. Since is very difficult to get them here I asked a good friend of mine to send it to me from USA. I can’t wait and I don’t want to download it.

I do have High Anxiety. I wrote NANE because Never Apologize Never explain is too large!!! :)

I love all the tracks of High Anxiety, specially Watch you Go. Don’t you think that’s very “Stop it, you’re killing me”?

Well i like all their albums,i don’t think T? have ever made a bad album but my favourites are Troublegum,Infernal Love,Babyteeth and NANE at the moment.Semi-Detached was the first T? album i bought after seeing the video for Lonely Cryin Only.

From Semi Detached I always liked Heaven’s Gate. Particulary the way it starts (the lyrics, I mean).

Since here we all speak spanish is hard to find someone that takes the time to read and enjoy the lyrics. Besides, in my country the music heard by people is not like T?.

The only time they came here (Monsters of rock festival) I went to the show and almost no one undertood the music. I think the only song people recognized was Die Laughing.

What sort of music get played on the radio or TV where you live?I live in Northern Ireland and it’s not very often you hear a T? song on the radio it’s just mostly pop music during the day.

To give you an idea there’s only one radio that can play music like T?. The other 1.000.000 radios plays things like this: argentina’s rock (awful in general IMO), pop from USA/UK and other argentina’s styles (believe me, you don’t want to hear them…).

For the rest of us, the only hope is internet.

I can’t believe that T? music is not played often there. What about UK?

Every time T? have a new album out the Radio 1 Rock Show will normally play the single from it but the Rock Show is on very late at night.
Irish radio really only play American/British boy/girl bands with some rock bands like U2,Green Day and Foo Fighters but no T?.

I envy you. You’re at the center of the world. We don’t have great opportunities to go to shows and things like that. On the other hand, is wonderful each time that anyone visit us.

Regarding the radio issue: how do you manage to hear things like Metallica/Korn or any other big rock band?

Bad Karma wrote:

Well those bands get limited airplay as well, but there’s lot of music magazines,MTV and of course the internet to find out about bands.

Ataque 77 has some success in the past. I think younger people than me like it. You can try a band called “2 minutos”. That was a nice punk one.

Hello there

Looked through the list of your favorite T? albums, and was very pleased to see that it’s almost the same as mine (NANE is not the favorite and semi-detached is not the worst). For some time i was thinking that i’m not a proper T? fan, you proved it wrong!
